"Damm, that's refreshing! what is it, Bucks Fizz?" Well, not exactly. We've created a bone-dry IPA, generously hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo and then flavoured with huge quantities of orange peel to replicate the fizzy, fruity, dry and sweet celebration concoction that is bucks fizz. Let's raise a toast, to beer!

Brut IPAs still confuse me. This one is a proper attempt, not just a highly carbonated and dry beer, but actually flavourful. Nicely citrussy / orange, yet still very dry. Not too much carbonation. Light, refreshing. Not my style, but a fun one.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, good size pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally crispness. Light malts with a light creamy sweetness. That characteristic champagne grapey bitterness in the mid. Decent floral orange on the back end. More grapey bitterness on the semi dry finish. Comes together well enough.

Keg at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, lemon aroma and taste. It's not bad but not a great deal going on here.

Keg at Mad Squirrel, High Wycombe. Officially the first brut IPA I've knowingly drunk, although if joet & co ever get around to reclassifying beers en masse I'm guessing I may have had one or two more. This one's slightly hazy yellowy-gold with a white head. Mild orange flavour with a slight dryness up front, a little lemon and a crisp, clean refreshing finish. Yep, I quite like it.

Keg at MS HW, 01/09/19. Almost clear golden blonde with a decent lasting white cap. Nose is stoned fruits, mellow citric peel, grass, melon. Taste comprises grass, orange pith, green berry twinge, airy malts, melon, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness in the close with grassy hop bitterness. Not bad for the sub genre ... some refreshment offered here.

Keg at mad Squirrel St Albans. A light hazed yellow gold coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is white grape, citrus, doughy wheat, spicy dried lemon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready grains, pithy dried grapefruit, assertive back of the throat bitterness. Paalte is semi sweet little spicy, semi crisp finish, highish carbonation.
