Flaske 0,33l fra Sourced Market, London. Delt med Rune & Charly under samling på Nerstranda 19 Feb 14. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum med litt lacing. God aroma av aprikos & annen frukt. Smaken har preg av frukttyggegummi. Litt søt. Behagelig øl.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark amber pour with frothy beige head, strong malt aroma, taste is very sweet caramel, minimal hop couldn’t have a session on this.

330ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a thin head. Aroma is toffee, tangerine and boiled sweets. Taste has some orange and toffee. Tastes like any generic supermarket ale.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden lasting white head. Hop and caramel aroma. I thought a decent pale ale. a bit more caramel toffee than I would normally want on aroma and flavour but the hops were good. Some bitterness on the finish. Hmm not keen on the aroma but hops are good.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, orange-gold with a foamy white head. Bready malts in the nose with touches of orange citrus. Light to medium sweet with a simple, lightly doughy bready malt base, a but if orange meringue, very subtle pine bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with further bready, lightly toasted malts, semi-ripe citrus fruits. Tasty and very drinkable. (3.6)

Can at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Great aroma with nice grapefruit, some overarching citrus pith, dry bread, pine. Light sweet flavor with further grapefruit, restrained pine, some grainy bread, orange rind, pith, faint minerality. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp and clean to conclude, with continuing notes of pine, faint hop oils, dry bread, some toasted cereal, citrus rind, a bit of pithy grapefruit. Nicely balanced overall. Lingering piney, lightly grassy bitterness. A little bit of resin, too. Pretty solid. (3.7)

Keg at pigs ear fest 2013. Aroma is zesty lemon and orange with light mineral and biscuit malt. Flavour is very much from the bermondsey mold. Clean biscuit pale malt clean american ale ferment. Nice piney citrus hop. Nicely posed and very drinkable.

Bottle from Good Taste, Crystal Palace. It pours clear amber with a thick yellow-white head head. The nose is wood, orange, tangerine, Irn Bru and candy. The taste is bitter-sweet, orange, grapefruit, a touch watery, wood, earth and pepper with a very dry finish. Light body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A bit watery perhaps, but drinkable enough.
