500ml bottle from Ciderlicious. Season 2017. Sparkling, clear pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of mellow pear, sulphur hint. Taste is sweet, fruity pear, some flesh and pip, with a light sulphury funk note. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, medium to spritzy carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from The Offy, Whitstable. Shared with Soph whilst preparing to press our first cider. Pours clear pale gold, ripened sweet perry fruit on the nose. Gently sparkling. Fairly light, easy-going perry, clean and not particularly fleshy or sweet. Decent but lacks a little character.
