Cask @ Post Office Vaults, Birmingham before catching Sebadoh at the 02 Academy. Pours dark, small tan head. Aroma is fruitcake, chocolate, dark malts. Taste continues along similar lines, additional light plummy notes, smooth light body, layered malt. Decent porter.

Cask-conditioned at Tank, Gloucester, 12/9/2018. Near black in colour, with a tight, beige, head. Rich, chocolate and toasty malts, some liquorice and hint of dark berry sweetness, before a gentle finish. A good dark beer.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Hazy brown with a creamy-smooth off-white head. Crisp and malty, it has some smooth tasting dark malts and a metallic-sugary nose.
