330ml bottle. Pours hazy dark, good tan head. Strong aroma of smoked meat, dark malts. Taste similarly extremely smoky, meaty, woody tasting very much like a Polish smoked bratwurst. Smooth, full body, soft dark malts. Good winter warmer.

Bottle, many thanks jfb! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is ham, wet dog, sausages, luscious chocolate, a touch roasted malts. Taste is sweet chocolate, ham, molasses, tempting, but the smoke gives a fun balance. Medium carbonation. Excellently made!

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is smoked ham, aged oak, candy cherries, roast, coffee or dark chocolate. Taste is intense sweet syrup, lots of cocoa, nice counterpoint to the smoky ham. Still a bit too sweet. Velvety smooth. Still a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle. Cloudy dark brown, brown lace. Fairly smoked nose, wood, seaweed, light hay, chili aggressive note. Fullbodied, creamy. Hay start, burned, light pralines, iodine and salt, herbal, sweet smoke finish, hops lurking in the back.

Bottle @ home. Thanks Mesjasz! Dark brown colour, brown foam. Incredible aroma of leather, smoke, karamel, chocolate, coffee. Full body. Very well balanced. Sweet and bitter, smokey. Lovely beer!

330ml bottle from EU Local Swap 1/2017, thanks Jashiu! 2015 vintage, BBE 30.04.17. Pours pitch black with a thick brown head. Aroma of smoked malts, earthy notes, wood, ash, toffee, caramel, syrup and hints of bready malts. Taste is slightly sweetish, earthy and smoky with some syrup, toffee, caramel, chocolate, licorice and peat. Finish is smooth, warming and peaty with some smoke, wood, hints of earthiness, chocolate, syrup and licorice. Pretty good.

Bottle 330 ml. Black color, average tan foam. Smoked aroma: smoked cheese and bacon, smoked prunes, roasted malt, whisky. Taste: powerful, sweet, smoked port with prunes, cigar ash and whiskey, dried fruits, dark chocolate. Very good.
