Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. New brewery for me. Clear amber with small beige head. This turned out to be malty and nutty with a bitter grassiness, light dryness. Average.

Bottle from local Home Bargains store – drunk at home. Pours golden amber – almost bitter brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is a curious mix of nuts and biscuits. Sweet and a bit bland at first in the mouth. Malts come through after a while and eventually a little bitterness. Inoffensive and quaffable. I would class it as a straight bitter, rather than a golden ale.

Cask @ Young Pretender, Congleton. Pours golden amber, pure white head. Moderately sweet malt nose. Taste is smooth, clean, balanced blonde ale territory. Bizarre that it's labelled a Session IPA.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Malty floral aroma. Amber. Blotchy frothy white head. Light-medium bitter. Hoppy a load of malts. Medium. Slick. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. OK English IPA aka a malty gold.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 7/3/2019. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. An easy drinking pale ale, with some ripe cereals, leafy hops, touch of sweetness and moderately bitter finish. Ok.
