Clear gold with a frothy white head and a sweetish light biscuit malt aroma. Light and fresh, cereal malt sweetness balanced with hop bitterness, just a touch of zesty fruit and a dry bitter finish.

Two hand-pulled pints at the brewpub, sat outside looking through the brewhouse door at the kettle; 2nd Aug 2021. Clean and clear golden body, white head that hung around for a while in the afternoon sunshine. Malty nose with a mild 'farmyard' twist, taste also malt first and again with a dirty farmyard feel. Liked it!

Cask at source. Pours a golden yellow with a large foamy white head and excellent lacing. Has a gentle malty aroma. Sweet malts are prominent in the mouth, though there is also some subtle hoppy bitterness. The malt wins out in the finish though. A classic traditional bitter – reminded me of what Boddingtons used to be like.

Cask @ All Nations Inn, Madeley. Pours clear amber, small white foam atop. Aroma presents gentle malt sweetness. Light, airy, palate, gently sweet, good drinkability, clean, well-rounded. Good refresher, and nice to drink in such a historic pub. Quizzed the aging guy behind the bar about where this was brewed, and was reassured it is brewed on site.
