Cask (The Sultan, Cheltenham) - Amber in colour. Earthy hops, caramel and hints of dried apricot in the aroma. Berries, caramel and hints of dried fruit in the taste.

Bottle from Ludlow Food Centre. Appearance - golden, slightly off white head. Nose - caramel, light kitchen smells. Taste - caramel, caramel, caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied. Too sweet. Overall - so so.

[ As Hop Shed Sultan Gold ].
ABV: 4.2%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, light grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, grain notes, light grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191102]

Cask at Pigs Ear '19, day one, 03/12/19. Golden blonde with an off white covering. Nose is airy malts, citric peel, grass, breads. Taste comprises toasted grains, orange peel, grass, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable golde if a little flabby and sweet in places.

Cask at pigs ear 2019. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is super grainy, straw, damp hay, sileage wet grass. Flavour is composed of sweet corn, grass, wet sileage.. Palate is grainy, straw, decent condition.
