75cl bottle from Scrattings. Pours a pale golden yellow with light mist. Aroma has a gentle perry pear sweetness, some mild pear drops. Taste presents easy-going perry pear fruit with a gentle sweet character, fairly dry with a mild acidity. Tastes more like a 4% perry. Not bad.

Bottle at home. It pours clear pale green with no head. The aroma is sweet, perfumed, candied pear, pear drops, powdery apple and dried leaves. The taste is initially dry, then sweet, ripe pear, pear drops, oily, candy, some tannin, oak, touch if acidity, pear pie abd a touch if alcohol with a drying, slightly tannic finish. Medium body and slightly oily mouth feel. A bit on the sweet side for my liking. Not bad.

GBBF2008. Very pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is pear, some sour wood and mild notes of cheese. Flavour is pear, oak and smooth wood. Nice finish. Wellbalanced. Rather sweet and dry.
