Low on alcohol, high on flavour! Vedett Session IPA is the ideal choice when you have to go the distance. Because settling in for a session shouldn’t mean having to settle for anything less than a full-flavoured taste experience! Even before that first refreshing sip of Vedett Session IPA, the first thing that hits you is its intense aroma of citrus and pine resin. Hold it to the light and you would even say this golden, slightly cloudy Belgian ale glows. Taste it (finally!) and the initial burst of refreshing acidity slowly develops into a crisp, flavoursome bitterness. With a distinctly hoppy aftertaste that beckons for more.

33cl bottle at home (3 VIII 2019), as Vedett Extra Session IPA. As session indian pale ales are everywhere, Vedett has come up a an edition too, advertised as a 2.7 percent ABV lightly cloudy brew with powerful and fresh hints of citrus and pine. The start is promising, with a beautiful golden-to-orange and clear beer with frothy, rocky and almost stable white collar. Quite good looking. The nose has beautful hints of American-inspired hop varieties with many of pineapple, pomelo fruits, passiflora fruits, ripe banana, spruce, pine and some weed. These flavours are not omnipresent, for a malty backbone recalls at the lager body. The mouthfeel however is not a joy - too bad, actually. The hoppy sensations are quite dull and even nuisive: a waterish feel combines the malty taste with an unattractive and somewhat artificial bitter ending. The tongue is left with a dry and slimey perception, which I dislike.

Bouteille 33cl BB 02/2019, merci WIlly.

Straigh from a Bottle from Albert heijn, Delft. Cant see it fine but it's pale color slight hazed. Aroma is nicely hoppy, floral with lots of lavender and citrus with belgin yeast and soap. Malts side is nothing more than a bready note. Super carbonation, thin body, dry bitter finish.
