Cask ale at Kings Head in Leicester. Kindly shared by jjsint. Amber-reddish in the glass, filmy layer, rich lacing. Caramel nose, dry. Earthy malty flavours, impact of caramel and dried fruits. Drying end. Rather thin bodied. Accepted. (Shared with jjsint and Finn on a pub walk in Leicester 10.02.2019).

Spandert av jjsint. Delt med ham og Rune. Mørk amber. God mandelaroma. Smaken rosiner. Tørr fruktig ettersmak. Bra - men vel søt.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester with Rune and Finn. Reddish brown with a paper-thin off-white head. Medicinal woody aroma some white pepper, vegetal notes, and forest floor. Lovely taste with bourbon spiciness, gummi bear, oak. Sweet, spicy and slightly sour. Long complex finish with caramel and berry in the aftertaste. An interesting beer.

Cask @ Bank of Conwy. Pours a deep brown, creamy off-white collar. Aroma has lightly sweet malt, toffee. Taste is smooth, gentle on the palate with a pleasantly light caramelised sweetness to the malts. Light bitterness. Quite moreish.
