An amped up session IPA we took the base malt recipe of Saucery and added Rye for additional body and flavor. We also increased the hop profile by adding piney Simcoe, orangey Amarillo and dank Mosaic alongside tropical fruit filled Citra and Ekuanot hops in whirpool and dry hop. Bravado is fermented with London Ale II yeast for a fruit filled aroma and a lightly sweet finish.

Keg at the beer merchants tap. A hazed milky golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice tropical fruits, white grape, lychee, soft white bread. Wheat. Some spicy citrus. Palate is semi crisp, light chalky, highish carbonation, drying finish. Flavour is composed of light bready grains, spicy citrus, orange rind, tangerine chalky, mellow dank in the background. Good.

Keg at the Rake, 25/01/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent offwhite cap. Nose is juicy citric peel, pine needle, grapefruit, light breads. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, weed, light dank strokes, grapefruit zest, cantaloupe melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with slightly aggressive hop bitterness Good clean drinking IPA ... flavoursome stuff when you consider the ABV.
