Adding in my 300 Beers To Try ticks because I want to see how they impact my stats and some of them I will never see again. Will however re-rate them when practical. Cask at Market Porter, Borough.

[Malmö 2017] Cask sample @ The Bishops Arms Gustav Adolfs Torg. Black, small solid mocha head. Nose is bit metallic herbal, almost plastic, whiff of soy sauce. Basic thick cacao, mocha empty basic cacao beans & paster, plastic chocolate. Plastic cocoa beans body. Strange, I liked the bottled one a bit more but I guess if I would re-drink that one these days, I might not like it as much as I did either. Expected more from this one.

Cask at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Don’t recall seeing this on cask before so had to indulge even though had the bottled version many times. Poured black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, vanilla pod, touch of coffee and dark fruit. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, very soft carbonation. Finish is seeet and a little minty. Good stuff.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - rich creamy dark chocolate. Taste - roast and dark chocolate. Smoky liquorice note. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - game of two halves. Creamy and sweet upfront then dry and crunchy on the finish.

Cask at the hogshead Edinburgh... This was an odd one... Deep black... Hugely sweet massive chocolate roast... 2 hakf pints were fine. But but seemed to go stale over the course if a pint ... not sure how i rated this twiceEarlier Rating: 12/30/2013 Total Score: 3.4Cask at the hogshead Edinburgh... This was an odd one... Cask på Bishops Arms Luleå 17 Aug 10. Svart som natta. Høyt mokkafarget skum som varer. Behagelig sjokoladearoma. Smaken er som melkesjokolade. Litt ensformig. Mektig. Flott som dessert.

Cask at the old Brewery tap, Wandsworth, London a few years ago so I am writing this from memory. I remember it being black with a decent beige head. Chocolate aroma. Tastes of chocolate (of course), sweet, malty, roasty, utter luxury. Oh how I wish I could turn the clock back a few years. Youngs beers are NOTHING nowadays.

[Cask at the brewery tap, July 2006] A black beer with a small dense brown head. The aroma is sweet and very roasted, combined with notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with strong chocolate notes, as well as some roasted malt notes, leading to a dry slightly bitter end. The mouthfeel is smooth. Nice.
