First brewed as an Experimental Series beer, this Saison is light, refreshing and moreish. Generous amounts of Lemon Drop hops provide a citrusy counterpoint to a spicy Saison yeast strain, backed up by some Czech Sladek hops for added complexity. This version is dry hopped to give it an extra citrusy kick.

4th July 2017
Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Fairly dry and sweetish herb. Very light spice. Tangy lemon. Touch of lemon zest. Mild banana esters. Mild bitterness on the dry finish. Started fine but got a bit tiresome.

Tried at the Eebira tap room, Bermondsey. Hazy pale golden yellow colour with a white head. Big lemon aroma and taste soft yeastiness. Smooth creamy body.

Keg @ Stori, Bala. Pours a light amber, medium white head. Aroma of soothing lemon curd, citrus. Taste is bright with fair carbonation, good lemon presence, lightly bitter with a nice lightly sherbetty spicy edge.. hugely refreshing on a hot day like today. Another good un from Wild Horse.
