Continuing with our historical interpretations, we kept our Gose (Goes-Ah) as true to style as possible. We mashed half and half pilsner and wheat malt and introduced souring bacteria, around half the amount of our regular sours, before boiling with coriander and Himalayan rock salt. The resulting beer has a very subdued aroma of coriander with a moreish salinity and slightly acidic finish.

Bottle at the old dears, from Callans, 08/07/17. Hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon drizzle, green berry jizz, light fink, damp straw, grains. Taste comprises light herb, floral, tangy orange, lemon rind, good salt vibes ... not always so prominent in this style but well balanced here, grains, straw, light herbal bite, rose water, faint pissoi, lime zest, apple core. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a mellow acidic bite. Decent well rounded gose.

330ml bottle from trade with BeersIveKnown. Thanks Steve! Pours a hazy golden amber, small white head. Lemon sherbet aroma. Taste is zesty sweet, super refreshing with good acidity and hints of lemon and strawberry. Good gose.
