Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with some grass and light citrus backing. Flavor has notes of grass and citrus with some bread and flora backing.

12 oz bottle on 30th Sep 2016 at The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Cloudy, dull lemon body, no head, not even a collar and wisp. Luckily the aroma and taste compensated for the ’poor look’ of the beer. Zesty, orangey and fizzy: I liked it.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy yellow, thin white head. Aroma is cereal malts. Taste continues with a smooth, malty sweet character. Like the other O So’s I’ve tried this lacks a nice crisp bitterness.

Random single picked up at Woodman’s for a buck something - pours a slightly hazy gold - nose smells fairly Belgian in character (so much so that I think that it is supposed to be a Belgian ale, not a golden ale) - esters of banana and pear, light white frosting sweetness, light grainy malt, light citric acid - the approach is very tart and acidic, so much so that I wonder whether this is infected or supposed to be like this - notes of melon and lemon rind - light grain - mild esters - finish of pear and prickly acid, even a light bit of funkiness - again, hard to tell if infected or intentionally tart - in situations like this, I assume infection - either way, some interesting aspects in the nose, but overall hard to enjoy.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear, light gold with minimal head. Aroma of light citrus with some oddly dank malt. Taste is light lemon citrus. Probably a decent summer brew, but kinda boring.

Bottle. Pours a light straw color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving little lacing. Aroma is subtle sweet malt and citrus zest. Light in body with flavors of bready malt, wheat, and lemon citrus. The finish is crisp with a mild hop bitterness. Easily drinkable.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a short, white head, rapidly diminishing. Light aroma of sweet malts, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Tart, sour rotting apple taste in the finish. Clean beer, except for the off-flavor in the finish.
