Celebrating our 25th birthday, 1995 is double dry hopped and at 6% ABV is our strongest, hoppiest beer to date. A hand bottled limited edition.
This beer has been dry hopped and is hand bottled in the traditional manner at the brewery. This means there will be a haze on the beers and there is sediment in the bottles. Please pour carefully to ensure the sediment remains in the glass and these beers have not been carbonated so may not be as fizzy or clear as our core range beers

500ml bottle conditioned: 23rd Sep 2015 at home, poured carefully into an Abbot Ale badged glass tankard. Slight haze to the golden/amber body, huge off-white blanket of foam on top. Yeasty and hoppy nose with the taste following along in the same way. Fruit notes along with a malty backbone blend well with the aforementioned hop and yeastiness: the finish is however all about the hops and a semi-bitterness. Pleasant and interesting.

330ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy amber with respectable white head. Fruity hop aroma. Taste is mushy mango and smudged tropical flavours. Can see what they’re trying to do but just lacks a bit of clarity. Still, a good effort.
