Green Monkey Lager is brewed with pure mineral water and the finest malt and hops. Clean and fruity with a good bitter-sweet taste, unlike lesser ‘Lager’ beers it is stored (laagered) for twice the amount of time to naturally achieve its sparkling, CRISP FLAVOUR. With some sweetness on the nose and with delicate floral notes, it contains NO artificial ingredients, preservatives or additives and is unpasteurised to keep each pint ‘brewery fresh’.

Decent enough refreshing logger bier.

Crisp-looking pale gold with a foamy/frothy white head, but not much to shout about on the aroma front, some grassy notes and a hint of sweetness. Well carbonated, giving it that crisp, lager-feel and the flavours are a nice combination of sweet malt, citrus fruit and hop bitterness. A nice enough, and refreshing, zesty lager, maybe just a little over-sweet for my liking

Half-pint, keg, shared with Finn at Cross Keys (Joules). Frothy white head, lacing rings, bright golden body. Modest smell of fruity grain. Rather sweet taste profile of pale malts and ripe lemon. Distant fruity ending, mid-sweet. Foamy in the mouth. So and so. (Chester 26.01.2020).

Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Høyt tett skum. Daler sakte. Spotlacing. Mye kullsyre. Litt hissig. Lett smørmaltaroma. Smaken ødelagt av kullsyra. Spor av malt & gress.

27/11/2019. Keg at the Glebe, Stoke-on-Trent. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, straw, light hop, fruit and grass. Quite heavy sweetness, minimal bitterness. Moderate body, oily/sticky texture, above average carbonation. It’s better than most mass produced lagers but not quality craft.

Keg @ Ministry of Ale, Burnley. Golden with a carbonation and a head with lager malts in its nose. It's the same in its palatable texture.

On keg at the Loopy Shrew. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and a decent head. Nose - honey and light metal. Taste - more honey or caramel. Custard perhaps. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. The finish could be fresher. Overall - not amazing.
