A beautiful hoppy Brunette, 5 malts, English and Australian hops combine to give this 3.5% session brunette bags more malt and hop character than you might expect from a beer of this strength. Ava’s sister beer named after another beautiful hoppy brunette – Ava’s best mate Mia!

500ml bottle @ Deaf Institute, Manchester. Pours hazy amber, a little under-carbonated. Has an earthy, leafy hop bitterness that’s not really my cup of tea. Slight smokiness on the finish with herbal notes.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Lighter brown bitter with a touch of amber and a smooth head. Has a grainy bitterness that’s fairly stated.
