Bottled. Lightly hazy pale golden, minimal head. Papery bready nose. Dry and slim with clean mouthfeel. Flavour of dough and cardboard. Low bitterness. A bit understated.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, visible carbonation, small, but lacing white head; shy grainy-dusty nose with illusions of yeast in the wings; light bitter-sweet flavour, rather light-bodied; short, shy bitter-hoppy finish. A decent thirst-quencher, nothing more...........

Bottle, provided by MoritzF - thanks!
Hazy golden, pearling carbonation, foamy head. Nicest aroma of a Dinkel so far - the citric tart minerally edges of the spelt are there, but it is balanced nicely with citric aromahops. The body is a bit of a let-down - far too light. Flavor is on the light side as well - slightly citric. Aftertaste is almost nonexistent. A shame, it started so good.

(swing top bottle) Slightly cloudy pale amber colour with a foamy white medium head. Soft sweet spelt malty aroma with dough and marzipan. Soft sweet bread malty flavour and taste, light to medium bodied, dry but short and slightly bitter finish. An enjoyable Dinkel Pils, that concentrates on its distinctive spelt-maltiness, but it could have had a bit more body.
