Bottle split on the train from Chrząstawa Mała to Wroclaw, big thanks to the Browar for digging this out of his stash for us 21/07/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized beige cap. Nose is dark malts, earthy fruit rinds, rum barrel, dates, fruit cake, toffee. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toffee, booze, figs, plums, touch medicinal, rum and raisin. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid kit.

Draft at Wroclaw beer festival 2018. Dark brown color small beige head. Aroma of vanilla, herbal caramel, booze. Taste has vanilla, lightly spiced cocoa, more booze

Sampled at swaff 2018. Thnx for sharing. Everyone ! Pours brown. Tad boozy. Barrel. Oak. Bourbon. Like a spirit kinda scent. Taste is sharp. Sweet. Tad sticky. Sweet barrel notes. Nice. Bit too boozy tho.

Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2018. A very dark brown beer with a small white head. Aroma of strong riped fruits, dark strong caramelish malt. Taste of strong caramelish malt, vanilla, bourbon, nice.

Sehr süßer Malzbeginn, klebrig, etwas Alkohol. Trocken malziger Hintergrund, die Süße bleibt stark. Okay im Winter, sonst deutlich zu schwer. Angenehm holzig. 10/10/8/9//8

F: medium, pale tanned, average retention. C: dark, opaque. A: sweet malty, caramel, bit vinous, toffee, vanilla, dried fruits, molasses, candy. T: thick caramel malty, vinous, vanilla, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, figs, dates, bit sticky oily mouthfeel, full complex body, low carbonation, very nice example for the style, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle as “Widawa Pogromca” 11,5%, from Swafff! 2018 Brussels Craft Beer Festival.

Tap (9WFDP, Wrocław). Słodowe, słodkie ale nie ulepek, świetnie ułożone, ciut owocowe o bardzo ciemnej barwie, lekkie w odbiorze, ze świetnie ukrytym alkoholem, bardzo smaczne. Butelka 330ml (BB 02.09.2018). Z butelki kompletnie inne, raczej wytrawne niż słodkie z mocno drewnianą nutą beczki a słodycz jest tylko w posmaku. Inne, może ciut bardziej alkoholowe, ale równie smaczne.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2018. Dark brown amber, tanned head. Nose is pure sugar, bourbon, rum, caramel, Twix, candy, sugar. Taste is sweet candy rum, bourbon, Twix, caramel, sugar, maple, caramel, sweet, not max. thick but lots of sweet caramel, sugar, rum, bourbon, sugar, maple, so damn tasty.
