Thanks to Kenny at the BD Castlegate Bottle Share. It pours opaque oily black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, loads of vanilla, cookie dough, bourbon, fudge, date, gooey chocolate cake, gateaux, cake frosting and earth. The taste is slick, toothy, rich roasted malt, sticky, chocolate cake, tangy berry, zoem acidity, fruit yoghurt, bourbon biscuit, coffee, cakey malts, must, toasted nut, praline and oak with a drying finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. A touch acidic and tangy on the taste, which is a shame... A bit infected by the looks of it and not nearly as a good as beknd 2 and 3.
