Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Unclear darker golden with some white ring head. Mild sour grainy lambic, fruity tones of grapes, grapefruit, rusty, nutty, intense and strong yet quite smooth in the mouthfeel. Mild sour. Slightly over medium body and bit low on carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks is to sjogro. Bit hazy golden with small almost white head. Deep funk, quite woody, apricot, vanilla, caramel. The brandy is quite present with caramel and fruits, nice. Wheat, peachy, soft alcohol, nutty. Medium sweet, under medium sour and light bitter. Solid medium bodied with thick wheat feel. Low carbonation. Damn tasty, could use a bit more carbonation maybe, otherwise super solid. 0

750ml bottle at source. Pours clear orange gold with laced head clinging to glass. Aroma is cheesy funk, wood, leather, brandy is there in the background. Taste is cheesy funk, brandy takes away the sourness leaving a wood, leather finish, super drying on the palate. Good stuff.

Bottle, 750 ml at the brewery. Shared with Rubin77 and Tomislav. cloudy golden, small white head. Funk, some fruit, wood, underlying smooth brandy notes giving it complexity, some sweetness with medium acidity. Flat.

Flaska på Cantillon, oktober 2019. Årgång 2018, Brandy. Klar ljusguldig, ingen kolsyra. Rejält med vita druvor, druvkärnor, skalbeska, fat, sötma, lite lakto och funk i avslutningen. Mjuk kropp, något större med lite tryck i. Ganska stor sötma och rejält med toner från fatet. Gott.

Bottle at Cantillon, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out leather, gentle barnyard funk, and a touch of brandy. Flavour is somewhat bitter, with beautiful brandy notes, light leather, barnyard funk, and gentle acidity. The bitterness is quite high, and so is the booziness from the brandy. Flat carbonation, with only a few bubbles. This is lovely.
