Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Mostly clear, very dark, mahogany colour. Dense, thick, beige head stays the course. Nose has menthol. Treacle. Coffee grinds. Leather. Taste is earthy and dry, with a light liquorice sweetness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. All the bitterness comes on the finish, and is earthy, and woody.

Keg at Mother Arch 2, 19/12/19. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dusty hops, pine needle, light toffee, charr, cocoa powder. Taste comprises dried fruits, light roast, charr, ashen tones, raisins, cocoa powder, light red berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid as usual from this series with some CDA cross over.
