Bottle at home, from BS online, 27/12/20. Deep claret red veering to purple with a decent crimson cap that soon dissipates to nothing. Nose is tangy berry fruits, damson, hay bale, on the turn blackcurrant jam. Taste comprises tangy red berry, red grape must, light funk, straw, blackberry yoghurt, light yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a red berry kiss. Decent saison.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Uber sweet berry aroma hits first, followed a vinous streak and sherbert. Opaque ruby red/purple. Foamy violet tinged white head. The sweetness signposted by the aroma isn't as up front as I expected. There is limited sweetness but that is alongside a dry earthy vinous sourness. Sherbert into the finish which is complemented by the fizzy carbonation. Light bodied. Relatively thin. Long dry finish. Some astringency. Pleasant but muted.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Burning Sky online. Pours rich purple with a cream pink head. Nice and juicy, rich sweet berries, mild tartness, nips of salty bite. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Lightly acidic finish, more plump, tart and juicy berry character, bit more salt, blueberry, elderberry, some raspberry, minimal bitterness. A whisper of funk in the aftertaste. Quite good overall.

Bottle. Burning Sky online. Mostly clear, deep ruby red. Fine ring of lasting, pink head. Nose has earthy berry. Blackcurrant. Fruity red wine. Sweet flora. Soft, woody funk. Taste has super fruity, juicy, berry sweetness. Some earthy bitterness, and a fine twang. Light to medium body. Trace of fruit acidity. Foamy carbonation. Fairly drying. Tart, earthy berry to finish. Great stuff, that warrants sticking in 750ml bottles.
