Bottle at Shelton Festival. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong booze, raisin, banana, nuts, wood. Medium body, roast, pistachio, banana, wood, very boozy, unique for sure.

BIG THANKS to David S! 375 ml. bottle sampled @ MEUG 2018. Dark tripel with banana, raisin & chestnuts added if Google Translate is working properly aged on Cachaça barrels. 2015 Vintage & bit too old, going bit thin but fair. Dark brown, little head. Nose is esters, sweet oak, cane sugar, plantain, sweet oak, thin bodied likely due to age. Also bit thin in taste finish works well, reminds me of a cookie, gingerbread, vanilla, plantain, sugar, cinnamon, cane sugar, finish is big sweet barrel, Cachaça I assume. Happy to have tried, fresh this must have been quite intriguing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Tom L. Brown. Malt, caramel, banana, some wood, sweet and a bit sourish, a bit of toast, bitterish finish, a bit of alcohol.

Ruddy brown. No head. Aroma is plum, old balsamic, the palate more to the sweeter port and almond character. Interesting. Nice little old ale.
