(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 4 Oct 2018) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, crisp-bread and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, liquorice, dark bread and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a slight lactose sweetness. Tasty and balanced. Quite nice.

Draught at the brewpub.
Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, light beige head.
Aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, lactose, cocoa, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with some more wooden and toasty notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty and sweet, wooden, with coffee, cocoa, some lactose.
Very nice. Smooth and well balanced, with enough roastiness to balance the milky sweetness. Really quaffable, goes down dangerously easy, while always staying fully aromatic. My favourite beer I’ve had at this brewpub.
