On tap at Foeders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out soy sauce, light roast, and some balsamic. Flavour is full of soy sauce, light balsamic, and liquid cocoa. No roast at all, and quite unusual for the style - lots of soy sauce. Not getting the barrels. Pleasant.

Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 4th December 19. Pours black, some head. Aroma is dark chocolate, barrel, liquor. Taste is smooth, drinks like 10%, nice integrated barrel, liquor, very good stout and not overly sweet.

Tap. Black. Caramelly milky aroma with toffee. Malty sweet flavor with soft roast, toffee and well hidden alcohol. Nice!

Near black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, fudge, caramel, coffee, cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Uiltje Taproom. Holy fuck... pitch black, beige head. Aroma of smooth Scotch, raisins, wood, lots of roast, brown sugar. Flavour is medium sweet, not like other Uiltje RIS, no soy sauce or molasses, just caramel, roast, coffee & cream, hint of dark chocolate, earth, wood, whisky, hint of booze. Full bodied, smooth as a baby’s butt. Love the roast in this, it’s exactly what Uiltje stouts we’re missing up to now. Best Uiltje stout so far.
