Draught @ SKAAL søndeborg. Pours cloudy nut brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, with touches of yeast amd fruit and caramel. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour with sweetish notes of fruit, caramel malt and yeast. Nutty and acidic aftertaste. A decent Quad.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark ruby with a large, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves sticky curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, toffee, brown sugar, raisin, fig, plum, faint chocolate and Belgian yeast. Sweet fruity flavour of bready caramel malt, toffee, brown sugar, prune, plum, raisin, light spice and Belgian yeast in a dry, warming booze finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Nice complexity. An excellent Quad.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop Culemborg.
Dark brown with a tan head. Dark caramel aroma with some raisin and plum. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Good quadrupel but perhaps just a bit too sweet.

Very good understated quadruple. Both aromas and flavors are toffee and caramel malt with some fruit. On the sweet side but nicely balanced with carbonation and a little bitter. Excellent body and finish. Great sipping beer.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 27/01/2023.
