OH COME ON! THAT’S NOT WHAT IT MEANS! You and your filthy mind need to get out of the gutter. A “Humpenscrump” is a musical instrument. Not a certain type of…um…move. Plus, as a totally unrelated note, we’re pretty big fans of the alliteration with Hefeweizen. Brewed with 100% German malt, wheat, hops, and yeast, this beer is super smooth, soft, and clean with no discernible bitterness. A light sweetness and notes of banana and clove make this perfect on a hot, sunny day.

Aroma has notes of matchsticks, banana, wheat crackers, earth, clove. Flavors like the aroma along with a slight medicinal off-note.

Hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Yeasty, musty, phenolic and citric with a hint of bubblegum. Long finish. Medium body.

Small draft. Expected hazy yellow. Light spicy hefe nose. Taste goes straight down the standard for this style. Toasty malt with a bit of clove. Don't catch the banana some hefes get, which is fine by me. Catching a slight bit of bubblegum, not excessive. And a tickle of German hop as a go with.

Banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small white head. Moderately sweet orange, banana, clove, wheat malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Nice.

12oz bottle. Filtered, yes, filtered, so you know these guys are real brewing experts. Not that worst weizen out there, but a hefe this is not. Smooth, medium bodied. Sweet banana clove tinged tones. Easy malt tones. Pretty simplistic, homebrew caliber stuff.
