Draught Dark cream to ochre head over black beer. Resin, peated whisky, pine forest or -branches. Very dry, liquorice, liquorice gums, bit salty. Finish has spices and some hops. Obviously very well-bodied, alcoholexplosion backthroat. Peating is not over the top, just good. Still not exceptional I.S.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Thick chocolate. Mild smoked. Bitter and roasted dark malty into a roasted and dense malty finish. Lingering coffee and chocolate far finish.

Pitch black, caked on espresso colored lacing. A lot of roast, smells very sweet, milk chocolate, maybe cinnamon and some cream aromas. It actually tastes a lot like my imperial stout home-brew but with more Peated malt. Rich, sweet, very roasty and the Peat leaves a roasted pork taste. That’s the only low factor other than that a solid IMpy.
