Craft Collection.

24/XII/21 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ Christmas Eve at Arno & Meggy’s place, BB: 9/VI/23 (2021-1604)

Clear orange to amber beer, big creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, ripe banana, bit sugary, almonds, pretty oxidized, malty, more banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, weird, green apples, bit yeasty, little bitter, bit chemical. Aftertaste: more yeast, sourish touch, bit weird, unpleasant.

Golden colour with thin head and light flecks of yeast in suspended animation within the glass. Aroma is dusty, malty. Flavour has a slight astringency mixed with sweet malts. Watery finish. Something didn't go well with this one.

Golden colour, white foam. Nose of ripe fruit, some citrus, some strange bitter notes.

Small greyish white head over copperish clear golden beer, with soft carbonation. Malt, sugar, but also a point of vinegar, pickles... Bit herbal rosemary or laurel. Sharpish flavour, sweet and herbal alike, acetic, herbs for sweet-and-sour. Caramel, syrup, but always with this sour edge. Mild carbonation, bit slick, seems not fully attenuated. I'm struggling to accept this was meant to be as such. Odd taste, off-flavour... certainly not going to have wide appeal.
