Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is dark malt with lots of caramel, toffee, soft notes of dried fruits and a hint of chocolate. Flavour is fairly sweet with a light roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Enjoyable Doppelbock that delivers ample rich caramel malts.

Draught Good, dense amberish head over bit hazy chestnut beer. Caramel, toffee, molasses, sweet dark bread, autumn leaves, and a whiff of curry powder. Slight bitterish shifty streak over again a caramel onslaught, treacle, Süsskuche and traces of oxydation. Sticky, slick, but the finish is somehow cleaner; well bodied. Not very carbonated. Classical Doppelbock, both in the better and lesser ways. Generally a tad too sweet for my tooth. 6/4/7/4/13

Tap at beerlovers during laugar tap takeover. Pours rather unclear caramelly brown. Small white head. Smell is toffee, caramel, slick, medium high intensity. Bit dried fruit. Taste is full, sharp, dried fruits, sweet, caramel. Very intense. I like this !

Draft tasting glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Dark amber, red hue, tanned head. Nose is DE lager profile some fish guts mixed with big dark fruits & low brown soap. Taste is herbal, soap, expressive in taste with fish guts, heavy brown soap, sweet, caramel, sugar, soapy raisin. Body is fish guts & brown soap, thicker. Interesting, classical but not everything here is my thing but I found appeal, it grew on me, nicely done, dark fruit notes work well.

Color cobrizo corona de espuma blanca, aromas a cereal malta, sabor maltosa dulce, cuerpo medio.

Botella 33 cl de Vivalabirra tomada en Belmonte 22..09..2017. Lote 170503 fdcpref 12..2018. (r05). Color ámbar oscuro miel velado con espuma beige que desaparece al poco. Sabores intensos caramelos tostados con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Sabores maltosos suaves dulces. Cuerpo medio. Buena.

Brown color, off-white head, good retention. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, some dry fruits and molasses. Flavor is slightly sweet, toasty, notes of caramel and burnt sugar with some alcoholic hints. Light sweet final, some watery mouthfeel.
