Flaske delt på RBHD-samlingen hos Asle Bjørn: højt skum! God aroma av (over)moden banan, koriander og litt peppermynte. Smilene har igjen dukket opp rundt bordet mens pc-tastaturene klaprer. En rikgit god og frisk hveteøl som sprer glede.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Getränkemarkt Hoffmann, Harrislee. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Typical hefeweizen aroma of over-ripe bananas and cloves. Nice and refreshing typical hefeweizen flavour too, banana and cloves again, some sweetness but not too much. Would definitely buy again.

(bottle) Cloudy, yellow colour with a big and blond foamy head. Dusty, wheaty and slightly citrus-fruity aroma with shades of banana. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Present wheat character with notes of citrus, shy banana, traces of cloves; moderately sweet and delicately bitter finish with fruity notes of banana in the aftertaste. A very simple example of the style. 03.V.14

0,5 l bottle with a good looking clerical label art design. Pale, cloudy and nearly yellow in the glass. Fine big white head. A lot of yeast and mango on the nose. Starts with a yeasty mango citrus combination, dry, chewing gum, low banana but not really complex. Dry and dusty palate. Defintive not my favourite Weizen.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.[ Courtesy of æHDer ]. Hazy - murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, passion fruit, tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, riped tropical fruit, yeasty, banana notes. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20130922]
