Poured from 473mL can (2025 release). Near black with dissipating beige head. Aroma of gentle roast malt with mild toasted coconut and chocolate. Taste is fairly toasted coconut forward, almost dry-ish upfront, like more husky coconut and light roast, transitions into a mild sweeter coconut with some residual dark sugars on the backend. Decent, but a touch muted.

Soft coconut and vague alcohol on the nose, has okay blackish brown body and modest beige foam. Flavour is all molasses and sweet coconut, but the alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is a little heavy and cloyingly sweet for me, it could be drier. It's decent enough though, but certainly heavy.

Feb 10, 2020 (8/4/8/3/16=3.9): Poured from the tap. Black with tan head. Rich chocolate and coconut with hint of vanilla and mild alcohol. Very well blended, sweet without being too sweet. Great coconut stout.

On tap. Pours black with light head. Aromas of dry coconut, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors are Bounty. Very nice coconut stout. There should be a style...

Dark brown. Thin head. Medium body and sweetnes, just enough to prop up the coconut. Some toasty, chocolatey stuff. Not bad.

Jet brown with a rich small brown head. Dark fudgy chocolate and cocoa notes. Milky, fudgy chocolate and a nice bitterness with a long finish where the coconut appears.

2020-02-01, can, 8-4-8-3-17=40
Dark chocolate, some roast, light roasted coconut; the sweetness is mild, the alcohol is noticeable; more roast and dark chocolate in the finish.
This was a can check, 2x4 cans seems the correct decision.
2020=01-24, draught at The Magnet, Vancouver, 8-4-8-4-17=41
Pitch black colour. Aroma of dark chocolate, light toasted coconut. Full bodied, elegant mouthfeel, dark chocolate flavour, sweet but not syrupy, with toasted nuts, hazelnut, coconut, finishing with some vanilla. No noticeable alcohol.
Balanced, excellent.

On tap at The Magnet, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with fresh coconut upfront, backed by a little cocoa and gentle roast. Flavour reveals a beautifully elegant coconut character, which combines with rich dark chocolate. Silky, rich, velvety palate with impeccable depth. Brilliant stuff.

Taster shared with Matt. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: sweet and roasted malts, not much of coconut, some grassy/veggie notes, which I am not a big fan of. Taste: tons of coconut, chocolaty, sweet, roasted malt, a bit bitter. Overall: very nice.
