Tap @ Friends and Family Cloudwater Festival 2020, Manchester. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Roasted malts, coffee and wood. Chocolate. Slick and oily. Bitter roasted finish.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Vinous aroma with notes of berries, wood and plain chocolate. Rich taste with notes of wood, plums, blackcurrant, dates, plain chocolate and treacle.

Bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop. Black pour with a tan head. Raisin, milk chocolate, ovaltine nose. Taste is coconut toffee, more ovaltine and milk chocolate. Belies its strength.

Tap @ Brewdog Helsinki. Poured pitch black with a thin off white head. Aroma has tobacco, roasted malt, ash and oak. Flavor has tobacco notes, roastedness, booze and wood. Barrel notes. Heavy, could do with some maturing.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Intense roasty malty aroma. Starts intense malty, not too alcoholic, quite sweet notes. More and more coffee notes, earthy, bitter chocolate. Also more and more sweetish alcoholic. Finish with notes of liquorice, wood, alcohol. Goes down warming malty. Nice!
