Keg at opaque black with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, intoxicating, oily, sticky, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, fruit cake, dried berry, cacao nibs, whisky, rye, plum, date, chocolate covered cherry, kirsch, Eccles cake and chocolate tart. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, charred action, dark fruits, dried berry, nips of spice, fruit cake, warming whisky character, oak, cookie dough, rocky road, boozy heat, light vanilla, toasted marshmallow, cherry and a touch of leather with a drying, warming finish. Full body and fine to medium body carbonation. Rich and filthy. Aroma is spectacular and taste ain't too bad either.
