Partially hazy golden and copper coloured body with a paper thin tan and off-white head that barely coats the surface. Aroma of bright hops with grass, hay, flowers, oranges, lemons, bitter alpha acids and a dash of subdued malts and also a little bit of alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied; Rich malts show at first, with some fake sugars noticeable, funky stone fruits, a dash of sweetness and some stronger yeast and pungency from the alcohol than what it seems at first. Aftertaste is relatively crisp, with a nice hop bitterness, mostly derived from fruits, with a slight grassy and resinous finish, along with some hay and sweet caster sugar notes towards the end, but relatively clean and concise throughout. Overall, about what I expected from this one, but a bit too rich in the malts, sugars and funkiness from fake/aspartame notes and not as crisp as other high alcohol IPAs from Aslin. Nice enough, but I won't be looking for this one again, given that others from Aslin (higher alcohol IPAs) are much better. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in Fairfax, Virginia on 09-December-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack), sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-January-2022.

Kegged week 1. Not the best or the worst of IPAs. Some sweetness, and a bit of bitterness. Tropical fruit, plenty melon, and a hint of resin beneath. Nicely hoppy. Drinkable enough for sure, but one among thousands of similar others.

Lots of mango, some passion fruit. Pours murky orange with good head and ok lacing. Lots of green onion—kind of a controlling factor in this beer. Tangy green onion finish. Some dank hop resin. Tap at Alexandria location.
