On tap at Burnside, pours a hazy copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, maybe a bit of biscuity malt. Flavour brings out light oats, soft biscuity malt, and dry hops. Nice use of the oatmeal. Nice balance. Good beer.

The oatmeal really smoothes out this beer, adding body and diminishing the hops kick. Pours dark amber with an abundant, high fluffy head, lacing sticks to the glass in clumps. Aroma of caramel and malt, taste is malt, oatmeal, toffee, with a touch of hops bitterness. Nice thick, chewy body, and mildly sweet and dry finish. Nice!

Draught @ Blitz, Portland, OR

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, oatmeal, grassy hops and grainy notes. Taste is malty, grainy and grassy with some hints of oatmeal. Finish is malty, grainy and grassy. A bit untypical.

Draft at the source. The oatmeal adds somethibg interesting in the aroma, as well as oat taste and extra body. Interesting idea.

650 ml bottle. Pours gold with medium head. Fruity marmalade aromas with some piney tones. Flavors of fruitbread - doughy with citrus and peels. Malty. Full and indeed creamy but not really in a good Pale Ale sense - seems to be at cross purposes. Otherwise pleasant.

Bomber. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A light grainy and earthy nose. Smooth, some earthy caramel, toasted malts, light fruity hops. A nice smooth palate, creamy. Good beer.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy luminous amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is malt and floral. Very foamy carb supporting full body. Flavor is very floral with some strong citrus - lots of fruit bitter - nice malt backbone. I can imagine dry smashed oats in my mouth. But I’m fairly suggestable. This is a very nice pale ale - finishing so smoothly bitter it’s a pleasure to drink.
