Bottle from Bierboom, Bruges. Best before: 10/2017. Pours clear golden with a lasting, big, foamy, white head; some lacing. Weird aroma of roll tobacco, smoke, mouldy apricot, apple & orange, white pepper, old bread, dust, kitchen herbs. Taste is medium fruity sweet, overripe apricot & apple with a hint of pineapple on an (old) bready malty base; light to medium spicy bitter middle brings pepper & a slightly herbal tobbaco touch, faintly lemony sour. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, a bit grainy & peppery, lingering mouldy fruit & herbal tobacco, and ultimately a dash of warming jenever alcohol. Medium body, slick/oily texture, lively carbonation. Expiration probably didn't help here - at least the taste is a bit better than the aroma.

29/05/2015 - 33 cl bottle from trade with tderoeck. Golden colour with big rocky head. Fruity, yeast, light spices, lightly something different, maybe the tobacco but it’s not really noticeable.

Little cloudy milky yellow beer, big irregular frothy white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: strawberry jam on opening the bottle (though it's gone really fast), citrus, bit spicy, dish washing soap, bit fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, yeast, bit cheesy, citrus, yoghurt, bit spicy, earthy touch. Aftertaste: yeast, alcohol, citrus, bitter, pretty fruity, jam.
