Draught@Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Brown colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, some roasted and nutty tones. Flavour is toffee, roasted, some nutty and mild ashy elements. Somewhat nutty aftertaste. Kind of simplistic, but yet highly enjoyable.

27 August 2022. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Shared with the lovely Anke!

Clear (?) brown, thin, tan head. Aroma of ground hazelnut, chestnut, pomegrenate, pear, vague cinnamon, redcurrant. Taste has sweetish pear, red apple, sourish berry even in a caramelly, biscuity & nutty malt body. Herbal hoppy finish with toasted hazelnut & more red fruits. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very oddly done, I honestly don't know what to think of it.

1/VII/22 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Fest (Gent), BB: n/a (2022-804) Thanks to all for sharing the beer!

Clear orange to amber beer, big creamy off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: wow, very very nutty all right! Lots of hazelnuts, smells like a jar of Nutella, sweet impression, with some vanilla and caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, bitter touch, earthy, some vanilla, dry. Aftertaste: pretty bitter and dry finish, hoppy, a bit watery, lots of hazelnuts, nutella, bitter finish. Interesting beer, but would’ve loved some more sweetness and chocolate in it though. Maybe like an amped up version of 9 or 10% ABV instead of 6%.

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hazelnuts, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of hazelnuts, caramel, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Sakiškių / Sori Hazelnut Brown Ale ].Clear, sparkling and medium to dark red brown colour with a large, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark malt, toasted, nutty, caramel, hazelnut. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light modrate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, sweet nuts. For me way to carbonated. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is lively - fizzy. [20180628] 7-3-7-2-14
