330ml bottle at SpielBEERg in Moscow. Pours hazy golden brown with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is dank hops, passion fruit. Taste is tropical fruit, resin, malt, light bitterness. Nothing special and overpriced, given that Lithuania is next-door.

Draft glass @ Prohibicija Pub – Vilnius. Proper hazy creamy solid white. Nose is ice tea peach, haze creamy. Taste is ice tea peach, hay, lactose, sugar, tropical fruit. Hazy body but thin compared to the USA classics still so much better than other modern hoppy beers in Lithuania and all the many very poor attempts at NEIPA that I tried in Latvia, Lithuania & Belarus.

On tap at Prohibicija, pours a cloudy light golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is very yeast and harsh, with earthy hops, lots of cloudy yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is very bitter and yeasty, with lots of filthy, harsh yeasty notes, bitter hops, and a dry biscuity malt base. Way too yeast and astringently bitter. Tastes like they have no idea what they're doing. Needs some serious work.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20180119) The beer poured grape juice coloured and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness and light bitterness. Aftertaste was thin and watery. A weak hoppy brew.

Tap @ Pudel. Pours hazy orange, kind of how I imagine a proper NEIPA to look like. Nose has some mango juice thing going on, plus lupulin dust, light hop bite. Taste is juicy also, goes down smooth and juicy, light bitterness and some shining fresh hoppiness - without much bitterness. Very smooth, highly drinkable, hazy. Simple but ticks all the necessary boxes I want to see in a NEIPA. Good job Sakiškių!
