If you like piña colada...
This fun twist on a Double IPA, brewed with Muted Horn from Berlin, is infused with pineapple puree and coconut. It's designed for those moments when you fancy something a little different. But although you may enjoy a bout of escapism, don’t forget the classic styles when choosing a long-term partner. They're probably more exciting than you thought they were!

16 oz can from Colin. Cloudwater does it again. Everything about this excellent, props tp Muted Horn too. Hazy, juicy pour with nice rich fruity aroma, more tropical than citrus. Taste is es orted to the palate on big, creamy, juicy, velvety body, big fruit tastez, mild sweetness. Tiny bit oc bitterness crops up at the finish. This is luscious.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Fully hazy, vibrant, orange gold. Film of sticky, white head. Nose has peachy hop. Creamed coconut. Tinned pineapple. Smells like a smoothie. Taste is sticky sweet, with a soft, pineapple skin bitterness. Medium body. Milky smooth on the palate. Low carbonation. Light, fruity bitterness to finish. Drinks easy at the ABV, but it’s a bit too novelty, overall.

Can at home, 11/10/18. Murky pineapple juice orange to yellow with a decent off white cap that soon dissipates. Nose is pina colada, pineapple chunks, coconut shavings, sweet tropicana. Taste comprises pineapple, coconut, straw, bitter sweet tropical fruits, melon, grass, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness. Ok DIPA ... does what is says on the tin wthout being overly sweet ... drinks well below the ABV but lacks the bitterness I crave from the style.

Hazy pale orange colour with quick fading head. Aroma has more pineapple than coconut. Flavour has a massive punch of sweet coconut. Too overpowering

Keg at IMBC Sunday Social. Pours murky yellow gold with a thin white head. Aroma is pineapple, coconut, it's pure pina colada. Taste is lovely pina colada, a little bitter hop tempers the sweetness. Good, fun stuff
