@ Boombalfestival Lovendegem. Clear golden colour, white foam. Sweet malty, very yeasty, typical Van Steenberge profile, rather unbalanced. Not very nice.

16/VII/18 - on tap @ Van Steenberge Tent (Veerleplein, Gentse Feesten) - BB: n/a (2018-840)

Clear blond to light copper orange beer, creamy solid white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy yeast, little fruity, some grains, bit of banana. Not too shabby, kinda typical saison like. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty bitter, rather metallic, grains, some marzipan, ripe banana. Aftertaste: malty, sweetish, banana, grains, almond cookies, bit weird, metallic bitter finish. Rather unpleasant beer, I'll leave it undecided if this is a saison or not...
