14/IV/19 - sample @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival (Leuven), BB: n/a - (2019-551)
Clear pale blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of aniseed, liquorice, very spicy, unpleasant, malty, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: super spicy, malty, grains, hay, aniseed, some liquorice. Aftertaste: sourish, hay, grains, infected, very weird and unpleasantly spiced.

27-08-18 // taster flight at the brewery in Tel Aviv. Slighlty unclear golden. Small head. Oriental spice nose with mint and rosemary. Clean Pilsnertaste with the aromatic spices. Mild bitter.

Dull blonde. The aroma is assertive herbs and even more assertive diacetyl. Hrm. Like a buttery, minty soda. Interesting, but not my thing.

Hellmalziger und deutlich kräuterartiger Antrunk. Im Mittelteil hefiger, die hellen Kräuteraromen werden zu intensiv. Der malzige und trocken herbe Abgang passt nicht dazu. Überwürzt. /5/6/5/8/5

Draught at the brewery, clear golden colour, almost no head whatsoever, aroma of mint and basil and a lemony herb which we call " louisa". Flavour of spearmint bubblegum and honey sweetness, the bubblegum character doesnt overpower the beer but adds another dimension, body is not to light, short but pleasantly sour aftertaste. Very good and highly original summer beer.

Re-rate 7/11/14: Draught at Beer Market Jaffa. Mint, rosemary, light graininess, bready malt, slightly sweetish with light tartness. Cool and refreshing. A lot better than how it used to be. 7/3/6/3/14=3.3

Draught at the brewery. Slightly hazy but almost clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of cereals, spices, herbal touches, sugar and some vegetal notes. Sweet and spicy flavor with some graininess, honey and some fruitiness. Rather light-bodied. Not fond of the too-sweet-too-spicy character. I hope it’ll get more people to drink Dancing Camel, but it’s really not my kind of beer. 4/3/4/2/7=2

A rating for one of the experimental, less-spicy, batches, a few days prior to the original rating: Clear golden-orange color with some chill haze and a small white head. Aroma of slightly husky malt, vegetal and fruity notes and some yeast hints. Sweet malty flavor with some graininess, honey, sugar, some fruitiness. Faint bitterness in the finish. Needs more hops to balance the sweetness. Light-bodied. Not my thing. 5/3/5/2/10=2.5
