Keg at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. It pours darkest brown with a medium white head. The aroma is earthy roasted malts, coffee, wood, leather, damp leaves, fruit cake, plum, Dandelion & Burdock, salty aspect and Eccles cake. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy, roasted malt, rather savoury, umami, coffee grounds, liquorice, peppery spice, leather and some alcohol with a chewy and drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent enough, but perhaps a bit too savoury.

Keg at Brewdog CJ. The description matches the aroma - funky spicy fruity and coffee. Dark cola brown. Creamy off-white head. Theres a core of sharp citrus bitterness but it's enveloped by creamy coffee. Some harher bitterness on the periphary. Medium bodied. Relatively light. A light fizz of carbonation. Long if not overly in yer face finish. I like. Another colab that slips down easy.

Keg at BD Camden, 24/10/17. Light black/extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan coloured swirl. Nose is spice, earthy red berries, stale fruit loaf. Taste comprises yeast esters, dried red berries, liquorice, earthy, light peppery spice, dates, leather. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok-ish ... but as with almost all black saisons it falls short for me.
