Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy golden, nose is fruity, citrus, some funk, taste is yeasty, juicy fruit.

The strongest in this Origame series, with which Du Brabant's Frédéric Magerat started gaining notoriety when he first came up with a whole new range of beers, years ago now; from a tasting glass at Dok Brewing Festival, thanks tderoeck and company for sharing. Egg-white, mousy, irregular, open head, hazy straw-ochre blonde robe. Aroma of honey, ripe pear, pineapple, calvados, raw celery, mashed parsnip, banana peel, gin. Fruity onset, ripe pear, apple, some banana, medium carb, soft bready maltiness; warming gin-like alcohol, lingering honeyish sweetness and fairly soft (certainly for this brewer) hayish and floral hop bitterness in the end, adorned with a somewhat weird, celeriac-like herbal accent. Not nearly as weird as many other Brabant creations that followed later, but still with a certain eccentric twist to it, which I like a lot about this brewery (which in certain ways is like a new Fantôme almost). Strangely sweet, I wonder how this was made... Would happily revisit from a 75 cl bottle.

5/VII/19 - on tap @ DOK Beer Festival (Gent), BB: n/a - (2019-971) Thanks to all my beer friends for sharing today's beers!
Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, grains, slightly smoky, bit yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some banana and banana peel, little bitter, bit sourish. Aftertaste: bit hoppy, resinous touch, orange peel.
