Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine

Noble and aesthetically pleasing, but at the same time suitable for the bad guys from the ghetto - this is how we think a classic barleywine should look. Having decided that the new variety lacks insidiousness and anger, we gave it an even more powerful, uncompromising look. Now it really looks like a grinning face that doesn't fit the system.

Stik 'N' Muve is a once sweet barleywine that has been perfecting itself for 9 months in bourbon barrels from the USA. Rich bouquet of dried fruits and caramel in taste, tartness, restraint and viscous vanilla and visceral 12%.

Stik 'N' Muve's label is the result of collaboration with a graffiti artist and graphic illustrator Roman Peeks, a member of MOW/WORD crews. In his work, he experimented with acrylic paint, silkscreen printing, embroidery and digital illustration, bringing to the familiar forms, silhouettes and letter constructions of his own new readings

30th May 2020 Barleywine #1100. Well at least until the next style fuck-up comes along. An almosy opaque dark brown with a small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. The dark malts are bordering on thin but still bring a pleasing dark chocolate and malt cream vibe that goes well with full on bourbon barrel. Good rich bourbon and a little bourbon soaked fruits. Finishes pretty light with some bourbon spice kicking. A very good BBA BW and pretty drinkable but it lacks a richer malt base, the rounder edges and some of that lovely coconut you get from the very best.

Black with a short lived tan head. Aroma of oak, bourbon, booze, toffee, butterscotch, sweet candied overripe dark fruit notes and vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and lightly prickly carbonation.

Just avastasin, et mul ei olegi bacdafucupi vinüülil... all we got iz uz ja shut em down on olemas, aga bacdafucupi ei ole. Peab selle vea kunagi parandama. Anyways, õlu on ok: magus ja alkone. Ülevõllikas, 0.5L on üksi joomiseks raske. Ok enaff.

Smell- medium strong, malt, caramel, a bit of roast, sweetness, alcohol, pleasant. Foam- thin, caramel, malt, acidic, alcohol, sweetness. The head is a tiny dark brown color, disappears fast. Appearance-brewer bottle cap and nice-looking label, a lot of little things on it. Very dark brown, but pretty much black. No carbonation. From - snifter Taste - sweet, alcohol, acidic tones, caramel, malt, more alcohol. Very sweet and malty with plenty of alcohol. I like sweet, but I guess it would be better if alcohol would be hidden by something. Still a very nice one.

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Bourbon BA-enriched caramel malty aroma, hints of toffee, caramel, some vanilla, oak, a minimally peaty touch, whiffs of alcohol and disinfectant. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, slightly vinous fruity, slightly boozy, notes of toffee, caramel, Marsala, dark honey. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, creamy, minimally cloying palate, lingering sweet-ish Marsala finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Dark brown cola-like pour. Aroma of sweet molasses, bourbon, figs, raisin, caramel and fudge. Taste has boozy figs, raisin, sticky ripe red fruit, molasses, bourbon, bitter somewhat burned caramel fudge, oak and a boozy hot finish. Feels a bit more infused instead of aged, but it a nice boozy tasty dark barley wine.
