Back in December 2018, we went to Brooklyn and brewed up Koselig Øl - a double rye IPA with Citra/Idaho 7/Mosaic hops. A few weeks ago, we had the Finback guys at our place to brew up another double rye IPA - this time at a smooth 7.4% with Mosaic and cryo Loral hops which are "changing the brewing world" according to an article on the VERY influential kegerator.com. The subtle spiciness from the rye segues into the dank, herbal notes of the hops with a full-bodied, fruity finish.

On tap at På Kornet. It's an unclear orange colored beer topped by a dense finger-thick white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is citrusy and resiny, with some spiced rye, a touch of grapefruit and some orange marmalade. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a light hopburn. Mostly hoppy flavor too, with a pleasant rye touch and a light maltyness. Generic citrus, grapefruit and some orange, and a good dash of resin, along with some hoppyness reminiscent of a freshly opened bag of citrusy hops. Lasting hop driven finish. Sure a nice one, the rye addition gives a nice touch to the beer. 191004

Tåkete gul med offwhite skum. Lukter fersken, aprikos og grapefrukt. Søt, fruktig lett bitter smak. Sitrus, grapefrukt, mango og ananas. Middels lang, søt avslutning.

[ As Lervig / Finback Floating Upside Down ].
ABV: 7.4%. Murky medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light rye, onions, moderate to heavy hoppy, riped fruit, rich, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, citrus, riped fruit, fruity, pale malt, onion, light spicy hops, light rye. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191101]

Can. Golden color. Tea, citrus and floral notes in the aroma. Malty sweet, tart flavor with citrus, passion fruit and floral notes. Juicy. Nice.

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Unclear orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, light herbal nose. Moderate malty, light grapefruity and fruity, notes of herbs and light alcohol with dry bitter finish.

PÅ Kornet 041019. golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Flavor is tropical fruits, pine, grapefruit, citrus, rye. Very easy dtinkable and nice beer.
