Unser Bitburger Winterbock ist ein helles Bockbier, verfeinert mit Bitburger Siegelhopfen und Aromahopfen Callista. Es ist süffig-kräftig im Geschmack und somit ideal geeignet für den Biergenuss zur Winterzeit. Mild-fruchtig im Antrunk entfaltet sich die intensive Malzsüße angenehm-gehaltvoll und wird harmonisch von einer feinen Hopfenbittere begleitet, bevor sie wohlig-warm am Gaumen ausklingt. 7/6/2020. Bottle courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Pours clear golden orange with a moderate sized white white. Aroma of sweet malt, hop, fruit, flowers and grain. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Sticky texture. Quite warming and a little boozy to finish. Warmed up a chilly evening.

330mml. bottle as part of the European Secret Santa 2019, many thanks @Erzengel for this one. @home, 04/04/2020 [#3.341 Global - #310 Germany - #3 Bitburger Brauerei] Deep Golden colour with a medium off-White head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee and honey. Taste is honey and sweet caramel malts. Sweet finish. Next one please!

Bottle, danke Günther! Flowery and fruity nose. Light cloudy golden, fluffy offwhite lace. Medium body, chewy crisp, dry, melon, kiwi, fruitbread, pleasant sweetness, light metallic grassy bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Bitburger Winterbock, Fläschchen von Logo, Scheßlitz. Ausgerechnet in Franken bin ich auf diesen Bock gestoßen, den ich in Berlin nirgends gefunden habe. - Orangegold, klar. - In der Nase eleganter zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen, Mandarine, Harz. - Im Antrunk herbsüße Grapefruit, Orangeat, grasige Herbe. Das honigsüße helle Malz ist recht stark, aber die feine, leicht trockene Hopfenherbe hält ihm stand. Milder rezent, vollmundig aber nirgends dick, gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trockene zitrusfruchtige Bittere. - Angenehm süßer, elegant gehopfter heller Bock. Sehr schön! (31.12.2019.)

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary malty and surprisingly hoppy aroma, hints of mandarine, orange, lemon, pale malty basis with a touch of wallpaper paste and potato flour, some honey. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty and citrusy hoppy, hints of orange, mandarine and lemon, a dry-ish touch of wallpaper paste and potato flour, diluted hints of honey. Nicely hopped.

Bottle. Clear dark yellow/gold with a decent white head. Aroma of grapefruits, zest and grass. Taste dto plus some malts and grains. Low sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced. Surprisingly good and enjoyable.
